MIC President Datuk Seri Dr S.Subramaniam will give up his ministerial position if hudud is implemented, which was met with applause from delegates at the party's Extraordinary General Meeting at One City Mall, Subang.
Echoing his President's call, MIC Deputy President, Dato Seri S.K.Devamany, will also follow suit by resigning from all government posts, making their stand strong against the Syariah Bill that was introduced in a Private Members Bill by PAS President, Datuk Seri Hadi Awang, in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday.
"I will resign with my President, if hudud is implemented. I stand by and with my President, and we stand by our people and party!", said Dato Seri Devamany.
