Ganabatirau... Common Sense ada?

*Press statement*
*Sivarraajh Chandran*
*MIC National Youth Leader*
*May 13 2016*
*PKR is doing exactly what it preached against BN by demolishing houses and Temples of ex-estate workers*
—————–
We strongly condemn the PKR government in Selangor for demolishing the Temples and houses of poor ex-estate workers in Sri Aman, Ijok, Selangor. PKR promised never to demolish after maximising the Kampung Jawa temple demolition for political purposes back in 2008. Now, PKR is preaching to the choir and doing exactly the same thing.
Giving notices of demolitions is an elusive excuse and it is rubbish. PKR thinks serving notice justifies their act and makes their action humane. J
Where have the people to sleep? Their lives have been badly disrupted. They are homeless, but yes, notices have been served. How moral is that?
This is laughable.
Where is the progressive and humanitarian government that the PKR says it practices in Selangor? We strongly condemn this heavy handed action to demolish houses in Kg Sri AMAN, Ijok.
The man to be blamed for this homeless situation is the Exco YB Ganabathi Rao. He promised to provide alternative houses and other facilities for 172 families but had failed to do so. He made the promise in 2013 but has failed to fulfil it.
What is he doing, sleeping on his job?
On 22 Jan 2016 they issued notices to vacate. How can people vacate when you have not put in place any of the infrastructure you had promised. Further the promised alternative lots are besides a river. This in unsuitable land for housing. What happens if it floods or the river bank overflows?
He has no sense of human touch, just collecting his fat salary and attending meetings. He should visit the area and talk to affected people before issuing notices.
Ganabatirau, please use your common sense before issuing statements that mislead the people.
_Ends_
