Wanita MIC delegates and observers attended MIC’s Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held today at One City,Subang Jaya. MIC Deputy Wanita Leader,Mrs.Thangarani and National Council member, Mrs. Thangeswary delivered powerful speech on Education and Unilateral conversation.

Mrs.Thangarani suggested to appoint representative from each wings to be placed at state education offices to permit them carrying out programs to curb social illness amongst teenagers.Meanwhile, Mrs.Thangasvary spoke on unilateral conversion whereby Wanita MIC opposed strongly. Her suggestion was to get Prime Minister to resolve conclusively stressing amendments to Article 121A is imperative. She also seek for exact jurisdiction and  scope  of powers of Civil courts in relation to Syariah to be defined to alleviate any ambiguity.
