MALAYSIA SHOULD NOT BOW DOWN

MIC Youth joins the government to call North Korea to immediately release the Malaysians stranded in Pyongyang

MIC Youth views the undiplomatic order issued by Pyongyang violates the goodwill charter stipulated under international law and diplomatic norms.

We also applaud Home Ministry's swift decision to impose a similar order on North Korean embassy officials to be banned leaving Malaysia.

All this while Malaysian government and authorities have been following the rule of law in investigating the alleged Kim Jong Nam murder.

There is no hidden agenda as claimed by the North Korean officials as the probe conducted in a transparent manner.

Firstly, North Korea should learn to respect international law and not trying to be impose communist rule on other nations.

We have our own sovereignity that need to be adhered.

At the same time, Malaysia should not bow down to irrespectable North Korean ambassador Kang Chol being rude and throwing baseless remarks against the government over the alleged Kim Jong Nam murder.

Government's order to issue persona non granta on North Korean Ambassador Kang Chol is most appropriate for not apologising towards his attitude and remarks over the Kim Jong Nam probe.

Ends.
