The plight and ordeal of Mrs.Nirmala and her 5 children was first highlighted by Jabatan Kebajikan Ampang. Beginning of the year, respected MIC President, Datuk Seri Dr.S.Subramaniam had personally assisted Mrs.Nirmala and children with financial aid and preparations for school for the year 2017. When followed up, Mrs.Nirmala and family had shifted to Port Dickson due to many issues and personal problems. This was immediately brought to the attention of National MIC Deputy Youth Leader, Chief Thinalan T Rajagopalu. Chief Thinalan had visited Mrs.Nirmala and has now found solutions to her many problems. He has also requested the help of Mr.Lerchumanan, Port Dickson Town Councillor, who was also present with Chief Thinalan help Mrs.Nirmala with welfare matters. Till all issues are solved, Mr.Thinalan has pledged to provide assistance to the family.
