MIC has kick start its election machinery operations for upcoming 14th general election (GE14)

MIC President, Datuk Seri Dr. S Subramaniam said the party had also advised its members at all levels to reach out to the voters in their respective constituencies

On another note, Dr Subramaniam, who is also Health Minister, said the party hoped to engage on a more significant role in resolving issues involving the Indian society, such as documentation problem, housing, employment and education through its Special Indian Task Force (SITF) centres.

“These (SITF) centres which have been set up nationwide, will be a one stop centre to coordinate all aid and assistance from the government," he said.
