Pagi ini di IPD Kaula Kangsar, sambutan hari polis ke 210, Saya telah dicalonkan utk menerima surat penghargaan KPD.

Mohan Vellu of Sentul Branch Chairman & R.Balamuraly of Selayang Permai Branch Sec rushed to the scene and rendered all the help and placed the victims at Pusat Komuniti Sentul. Coordinate with DBKL to record the details of families. Also present was Mr.Charanjit of MyPPP and Datuk Dr.Dominic of PGRM

Madam Thanalaksmi, Wanita of MIC Batu handed over financial assistance to the victims of the fire. Madam Krishnaveni of MIC Service Centre visited the fire victims and agreed to help the fire victims via Service Centre.
The cause of fire is under investigation.

MIC deputy president SK Devamany says the MyPPP president has not received the green light from the prime minister to contest in Cameron Highlands
KUALA LUMPUR: MyPPP president M Kayveas has not gotten any approval from the prime minister to contest the Cameron Highlands parliamentary seat in the next general election, MIC deputy president SK Devamany said today.
“If what Kayveas said is true, he is a self-declared candidate and a lost soul,” said Devamany, who is also a deputy minister in the Prime Minister’s Department.
He said the prime minister would not give his approval for just a single seat when there are 222 parliamentary constituencies.
“All BN component party leaders would sit and discuss seat allocation before it is announced by the prime minister,” said the senator.
On Tuesday, V Sivakumar (Batu Gajah-DAP) questioned whether Kayveas had received the tacit support of Prime Minister Najib Razak to stand in Cameron Highlands, which is traditionally contested by MIC under the BN banner.
“How is it Kayveas is so confident of contesting the Cameron Highlands parliament seat without even getting the approval of the BN component parties?
“Did Prime Minister Najib give his green light to Kayveas?” Sivakumar had asked.
“If that is the case, does it mean that MIC would lose a seat?” he said.
On March 8 Kayveas was reported as saying that he wants to contest in Cameron Highlands and that his party was also eyeing several other seats. He is also running programmes in the constituency, including by giving away free petrol for motorcyclists.
The seat in Pahang is held by former MIC president G Palanivel, but it unclear whether he will defend it in the next general election.
Devamany said MIC would contest in Cameron Highlands as the seat belonged to the party.
He also took Kayveas to task for allegedly misusing Najib’s position in staking a claim over the seat.
“It is unbecoming of him to be using the prime minister’s name. Kayveas is a king of psychological warfare to convince and confuse the voters,” he said.
He said although MyPPP had helped MIC, Kayveas was acting on his own to step on the toes of MIC by issuing self-serving statements.
He also clarified that Wanita MIC chief M Mohana was not eyeing Cameron Highlands.
“She is there to conduct the ‘Jalinan Rakyat programme, an initiative by BN’s women’s wing.”

PARA peserta Larian Baton Bangkit Bersama berlepas dari That Huang, Vientiane pada pagi Sabtu (18 Mac) menandakan bermulanya pusingan ketiga larian yang diadakan sempena Sukan SEA ke-29 dan Sukan Para ASEAN ke-9 Kuala Lumpur 2017. Timbalan Menteri Belia dan Sukan YB. Datuk M Saravanan menyempurnakan majlis pelepasan dengan menyerahkan baton kepada Menteri Pendidikan Laos, Larian sejauh 10km itu melalui enam pusat pemeriksaan sebelum tamat di Stadium Nasional Chao Anouvong.
